I'm at
BugsysClub
. I am in a $1/$2 no-limit cash game with a couple of crazy players. My stack is about $275. I have AA on the small blind and the button who is the crazy one makes it $25. Most the the pre-flop raises in this game to $4 or $8 or $12 on a good hand. When he raised that much I'm thinking he has a hand that is weaker than it looks because it looks like he doesn't want callers. I just smooth-called because if i come over the top here i am telling him what I have. I was putting him on either a big pair or AK. The flop comes King-high and he bets out strong - I think about $50. Now I know he has Ace-King. There's is $150 in the pot and I am thinking about smooth calling again to build the pot seeing as he only has 2 outs. But I decide with him being so crazy and also having a good hand I could re-raise all-in now and still get him to call so I raise $120. The reason is because I didn't re-raise his big bet pre-flop so it looks like I am calling his bet with a good-but-not-great hand. If I come over the top and raise him here it looks like I am either raising with KQ thinking I am ahead or it looks like I am trying to buy the pot with a bluff. He calls and has AK like I thought.
