Garry Bush is an English professional poker player based in London.
Bush started off as a cash game player in North London, but turned to tournaments in the late 1990s, mainly in European tournaments. He has won several tournaments and made countless final tables.
He hasn't achieved much fame in the US because the European tournaments tend to have fewer players than the huge fields of the WSOP, so the payouts don't seem as impressive. Also, he does not care about playing poker on TV because of the lack of player sponsorship.
In 2002, Bush won the European Player of the Year after making 18 final table appearances during the year.
In April 2002 Bush made his only appearance on Late Night Poker, finishing 5th.
In 2003 made a 3rd place finish in the Pot-Limit Omaha tournament in the Irish Winter Tournament in Dublin.
In 2004 he finished 2nd in the $3,000 Pot Limit Hold'em tournament at the WSOP, earning $139,540.
Bush played in the inaugural European Poker Tour tournament in September 2004, making the final table in Barcelona.
In 2005 he cashes in the WSOP Main Event for the first time, earning $33,197 for a 219th place finish.
He has 3 WSOP cashes and has earned over $730,000 in live tournament play.
