Marcel Luske is one of the most entertaining players around. Most people recognize him at the table by his trademark upside down sunglasses and the fact that he is one of the most talkative players around. He loves the thrill of competition and loves to give other players a hard time - but in a friendly respectful way. He reminds me of a European version of Scotty Nguyen. And although he has a lot of fun at the table and takes some blatant gambles, he has an undeniable instinct for the game. Most saw this when he laid down a hand pre-flop against another player who raised with pocket Kings. After he laid it down he said to the player, "Your kings are good". Then the other player, trying to cover up the fact that his play was easily readable, said "You mean my Ace-King?", to which Luske replied "No, your pocket kings." Marcel Luske finished 10th at the Main Event this year and made $373,000 but also finished 2nd in the $5,000 7-card Stud, losing to a player named Joe Awada.
