Scott Fischman

Scott Fischman is a professional poker player based in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a member of The Crew.

Born in 1980 in Pennsylvania, Scott Fischman grew up in New Jersey and moved to Las Vegas in 1992 at the age of 12. He was introduced to poker by a friend at school and became very interested in the game. He later became a poker dealer at the Sahara and the Mirage at age 21 in order to learn about the game by watching the players.

After 2 years of dealing, he quit in order to start playing poker. He spent a lot of his time playing online to sculpt his skills, under the screenname "emptyseat88".

In 2003, Fischman became a member of the poker-playing group "The Crew," which also included Dutch Boyd, Joe Bartholdi, Bobby Boyd, David Smyth, Tony Lazar and Brett Jungblut.

At the 2004 WSOP Fischman became the youngest player ever to win 2 WSOP bracelets, winning $2,000 H.O.R.S.E. Tournament, earning $100,200, and the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, earning $300,000. He gained immediate respect from the poker world not just for winning multiple bracelets but for showing skills in different games.

In 2004, he defeated Joe Cassidy to win the WPT Young Guns of Poker invitational event.

In 2005 he came close to winning his 3rd bracelet when he finished 2nd to Allen Cunningham in the $1,500 no-limit hold'em event - the one that he and won the year before.

In 2008, Fischman made the final table in the main event at the World Series of Poker Europe, finishing in 6th place.

He has cashes 3 times in WPT events, with his best finish being an 8th place finish in the 2007 $25,000 WPT World Championship event, earning $247,525 and missing the TV table by two players.

He has 2 bracelets and 10 WSOP cashes for a total of $1,072,781. As of 2009, his total live tournament winnings exceed $2,550,000. He is a Full Tilt Pro.

Fish Got Miracle Lucky To Win That Bracelet. A Fluke. But Scott Goes With His Read And Puts All His Chips In The Pot Based On Them, I Do Too, Thats Why We Win. Most Players Dont Have The Stones To Trust Thier Reads For All Their Chips, So They Are Content To Just Make The Money And Never Winit All

He's better than I origianlly thought. Talks a little too much but what young player doesn't? Thank god he left that stupid "Crew". He was by far the best player of that rag tag group. He was to "The Crew" what Lionel Richie was to The Commodores
