Poker Player Profiles

Barry Shulman

Born in Seattle, Washington but now living in Las Vegas, Barry Shulman is a former realtor and is best known as the publisher of Cardplayer magazine. After he bought the magazine he expanded it and grew it to 126 pages per issue and a circulation of 50,000 issues. He did this so that it would appeal to a much wider audience. But Barry Shulman is also a poker player - even though he doesn't consider himself a poker player. He started playing poker as a teenager. He took a long break from the game after graduating from the University of Washington and now plays between many tournaments a year - even WSOP and WPT events. Barry's son Jeff is also a well-known poker player and has had a hand in running CardPlayer's day-to-day operations.

"He has nice tits for a guy" LOL! Wonder who's are better his or TJ's? I do love that odds calculator on his site. Maybe if he could bring that to the table he'd be semi-successful at poker

he wrote a good book recently "52 TIPS FOR LIMIT HOLD 'EM" which has helped me tremendously. His site, CardPlayer.com has cool odds calculators.
