Howdy,
I'm relatively new to the game of poker and my experience is primarily from online gaming (PokerStars) since September, 2004. I noticed there was a pretty good list of some cash games in the Jacksonville, NC area but I was looking to try my hand at some low buy-in NLHE tourneys.
Also I came across a news article on the net about World Tavern Poker Tour (WTPT) in South Eastern North Carolina. Most of the articles and information I've read detail action in Wilmington and Raleigh which are a bit far for me to have to drive. The article I found more recently from the Jacksonville Daily News mentioned that Denny's Pizza in Richlands participates in the WTPT. Hopefully someone on this board has checked it out and could tell me about it: frequency of tourneys, number players, skill of players, etc.
