My three chip choices are
James Bond Poker Chips
These are the exact same 9 gram clay chips being used in Las Vegas. The Casino De Isthmus was a fictional casino in the James Bond movie License to Kill. Four Queens, Golden Gate, and Stratosphere all use these chips.
Apache Poker Chips
The Apache poker chips are the highest quality best looking chip set on the market. The chips were made in the USA by Chipco and are 10 grams each. The Apache was opened in Downtown Las Vegas from 1932-1941. Today the property is the Horseshoe Casino. We used all original 1930's art to create these great looking vintage chips. They are the exact same chips being used in Las Vegas Casinos and you can't buy a better poker chip.

Any Suggestions Or Opinions on What I should get will be much appreciated

Have you check out Nevada Jacks? I don't kow how much your looking to spend, but there Composite Chips ROCK! Don't bother with those 11.5 gram suited chips. They feel loike heavy plastic chips and slide all over the place. If you are on a budget, check out pokerchipmart.com Thier Las Vegas chips look good and are only like 150 for 500.

The weight of chips used in casinos is 10 grams or less. Because of all the 11.5 gram chips made in China many people think 11.5 grams is casino weight. Beware of any website that that tries to tell you 11.5 grams is the weight of chips used in casinos.
All the chips i mention are fucking asome quality and expensice as hell :P.
its doesnt mather what chips u chose, cuz they are all great, chose the one u think looks the best, my personal favorit is the bond chips

I've got a set of Chipco chips and they are by far the best feeling, looking, and sounding chip out there!

I've had good a experience with pokerchipmart recently. I purchased an inexpensive "package deal" of 9gm chips and am quite pleased. The feel of the chips is spot on and they make a nice authentic sound when I try (and fail at...) my tricks :D.

the standard chips you can get in a set with a case are always a good, inexpensive way to get started..I invested quite a bit of money in completely custom chips..color/design/etc..they are WAY better than any chips in a casino or that you can buy...I have 1,200 custom chips, different denominations, and it cost just shy of $1 per chip..about $0.90...

If you're going for cheaper chips the James Bond set is pretty cool looking. If you're trying to get higher quality the Archetype Casino Chips are really nice. I beleive these are used at Harrahs.

I have some Navada Jack poker chips I am looking to sell. I bought them but I never play any more. I really liked them while I used them. There are 300 of them. There are a lot better then the 11.5 gram ones because they have a real feel to them. There are kind of rough so they don't slide everywhere. There are 120 25 cent ones, 120 50 cent ones, and 60 1$ ones, making $150 dollars worth in chips. I bought them off of 5stardeal, which was a very good website, and I payed $244 with shipping and everything. I will sell them for $175 or best offer, not counting shipping, which was $14 when I bought them. If interested e-mail me at 1bigbody@charter.net.

It really depends on what you plan to use them for if you plan on playing cash games then I wouldn't get chips with denominations on them and you might want to buy more of them and you won't want to play alot. I have enjoyed my super diamond 9gram set just fine.
One solid color ten different color to chose from. We use five for cash games (white, red, green, blue, and black) and the other five for tournaments)yellow, orange purple, pink and gray).
If you plan to do only tournament then you won't need nearly as many chips as I doi find 5 star deal and ebay (60 dollargot 1000 chips with ten racks and a dealer buttong) the best places to go.
Be cool

Do yourself a huge favor and invest in all clay chips. You won't be sorry.
