Pretty much anywhere. Look for sites that have freerolls. At least you can win real money. You will have to make a small deposit in order to cash it out though.

What you can do is just join that site which offers freerolls as the admin suggests for a start in the mean time you will get familiar with the procedure they follow how they accept money and the way they do payouts etc.

As a newbie it is always good that initiate playing with free rolls.

Well I guess there are no dearth of places now where we can play the online poker. But the million dollar question is as novices how do we identify the ones that have other intentions. For instance I already have come across some of the threads here which warn us about the fraud sites and the same story has been repeated in some of the other community boards too. How do we identify the genuine ones!

Be careful about people claiming fraud. Most of the well-known brands (Stars, UB, etc) are not frauds.
