Annie Duke defeated Erik Seidel 2-1 in the Heads-Up final. She becomes the first woman to win the event and takes home the $500,000 prize. Seidel wins $250,000 for his second place finish.

It was a great night of firsts for women as Duke takes home this title, Katherine Bigelow became the first woman director to win an Oscar for 'Hurt Locker' and a PA here made a sports wager for the first time ever.

Annie Duke is one of the best female poker players that is hard to beat. Though the only thing i know that she is lost is at Celebrity Apprentice with Joan Rivers. But then again she's very creative and hard working, which she deserves to win lots of poker tourneys.

Well I don't know about that I am new to this. I need to play a game with Annie. Lets see who won. ;)
