Confussion about blinds in tournament play
 

Hey everyone,

I have holding poker tournaments at my house for awhile. I always thought that while in tournament play blinds could not be skipped. If someone got knocked out there is either a dead blind or dead button. We get into arguments everytime we play on which way is right. They say that if someone gets knocked out that the next person post the blinds. Can someone help me out?

Good information thanks. I have one more question, When the big blind busts out there is a dead small blind, after that deal what happens with the button? If the button does not go dead then someone is still going to pay blinds out of turn. If you could clear that up for me it would be great.
