What the hell is going on with poker? This is crazy. I remember 2 or 3 years ago having to drive to other states for a tourney, now every local firehouse and basement has a game going on. Trust me, I'm not complaining, I have never had a better EV in my life then now. I am on a 9 session winning streak. BUT, MTV is going to completely ruin this scene. It use to be a tight group of people that knew how to play many games top notch: Seven card, Omaha, pineapple. Now its just a bunch of kids that think they are the shit at hold em and think this scene is about being cool and getting on TV. Poker is about one thing, making money. So listen up all you newbies. Instead of going to your local game and putting on your shades and chasing that K to the river. Pick up a book and actually learn this game. It will save you a ton of money and the rest of us a head ache.
