don't tap on the glass

I spent 15 years dealing, flooring and pitting in poker rooms all over the world. The true fish don't know they are doing anything wrong and yes it makes it very hard to put them on a hand since they don't know when they should drop a hand, rather than scaring the fish away from the pot. make it easier for yourself by finding out as much as you can about them, people don’t stray away from their base personality that often if they are an adventurous person the will take more risk and the adverse is usually true. rather then telling them when they are "wrong" use these opportunities to practice your ability to read them even though it is more difficult it is no less valuable especially if it is a low limit office game. no matter what level you play at in a casino situation you will find the fish I have pushed the pot to a hand with no pair countless times at even the high limit games the trick is to read the player you are up against and every hand you play can teach you something. never forget the cards in your hand only matter if there is a showdown learning to read the fish is the most important skill you can learn so let them play and learn and use it to improve your game and don't waste your time trying to improve theirs. Good luck with your future sessions and never stop learning
