Schedule C?

Does anyone report their winnings on a schedule C and deduct expenses?

reporting winnings

I don't think you can deduct expenses unless you are a professional gambler, ie. that's what you put as your occupation, but I do know you can never report a loss and you can only deduct losses to the extent of winnings with the concept being if you spend $50 to win $20, then you have lost $20 and it's not taxable

With the new tax laws you can deduct any and all taxs. Try charging yourself $2.00 everytime you take a piss or flush a towlet. Make sure you write yourself a ticket

I save everything that has taxs charges to it.
