moral or immoral?

Hi All...

I am going to ask one straight question today...Do you think player poker is moral ?

About as moral as football, squash, checkers, billiards, bowling or other games people play for entertainment.

I don't see why it would be immoral. Some cultures and religions see any type of gambling as immoral because some think all money should be the "fruit of your hard labor." But, it all depends on your own World View and perspective. To me, the element of risking your money is what makes any type of betting or gambling game exciting. I know some people fall into a gambling problem and it is not due to playing poker; some have been developing this problem previously to finding poker. For instance, I don't like betting on sports or any type of gambling other than poker. I find poker is not purely a game of chance but a game of skill. But, that's just my point of view.
