friendly poker game???

hi mates...
I am going to start a friendly poker game with new guys from church...How much money should i bring to a friendly poker game??

Dunno, you could ask, or bring sufficient and see for how much they play.... Start of small I would say.

I'd say everyone buy in for a set amount and no more for the night if the plan is to keep the game friendly. good luck!

I host a game for 14-18 players regularly, and this works for us...
2 tourneys per night at $10 each, lasting about 2.5 hours.
Nickel / dime cash game for eliminated players, $2 bet or raise
considered all-in. This is a 5 hour night, and you can't lose more
than 23-24 bucks even if you play badly all night. Our fear is that
if anyone got seriuosly hurt, the wives would talk, and that would
be the end of the game....can't let that happen. Good luck!
