Starting a weekly home game. No set format,- general agreement is a FRIENDLY game of 8 - 12 folks, so that work schedules & family obligation would allow for a game if some can't make it.
Consensus is "big winners / losers" would average $100 - $300. Focus is to get together - play whatever the consensus calls for (1/2 or 3 NLH, maybe some Omaha or even Hi-Lo or some "sit n go" tourneys from time to time.
'recovering from a re-model to our house in Bellaire, but have a "civilized area" where everyone can BYOB, 'tell some lies, some jokes. Patio is 10 steps away for tobacco-smokers.
At best, average / decent players ... ages - late 20's to a couple of "old men".
VERY laid back and informal. No rakes, fees or costs. I have a keg that anyone is welcomed to share or plenty of fridge space for your own refreshments ... maybe we'll decide to chip in for snacks or call out for pizza.
