I just started promoting my game in the Orange County CA area, i started to do it on Saturday and tues. So this thursday will be my 3rd day but i havent had anyone show up. Its a 2/3 game with a buy in form 100 to 300. Has anyone had the same issue when you first started doing poker games in the begenning?

How are you advertising the game?

Did you get people to RSVP ahead of time?

bring a few house players in if u can afford it-just to get it off the ground-put them in for the minumum buyin,or go partners,split his buy,etc.then when u get 1 or 2 players trickling in at least the game can get off the ground,otherwise they walk in,see no game,and walk out and never come back,thats the worst,from there continue to spread the word,promos,money talks,$50 for firstime member when they showup,,refer a friend and pay $50,freeroll-etc just like a regular biz--promote-

Whats up guys, its been about 2 months since i put this post and I completely forgot about it hehe. Well it turns out that I am running my games pretty successfuly. I am having at least 6 palyers all every time I have the game.

Did you got to the Bus Station to find your players?:confused:
