getting started in nlh

i have played poker since i was a kid and used to kill at the home games and then get my ass kicked at the casino about 65% of the time. however i had drug money and didnt take it seriously.

now that im out of prison and dont want to go back, im thinking of trying to earn a living at poker.

what do you think woul be a good bankroll to save up? im thinking a grand would give me five sessions of 1-2 blinds with two buy ins of a hundred.

so if i go five days and am prepared to lose two hundred a day and end up losing the bankroll then i could just give it up and go to college or something.;)

any opinions?
