I met Phil Laak in the Commerce Casino this week and personally watched him take many big pots off of some the best no limit players LA has to offer. He was one of the best players without a doubt. He was down to earth and approachable toward me even though I was the stereotypical, busted at the time, railbird. Phil, although you may be a soulless wasteland gamble to bone type of guy the players were seething at, my hats off to you and your pretty damn good play. P.S.
