facebook poker in university???

I have a query and I want to share it with you people.How can I playfacebook poker? My university internet network wont load it because it has a chat box.?

Its so simple. You just disable your chat then you can play. Click on chat and option and click go to offline. Then you are on offline mode.

Youd be better off just playing freerolls on Pokerstars for practice purposes and you actually get to qualify for real money!

Facebook poker is a joke in itself!

+1 on the freerolls.

It might be a pain in the ass though to play at the traditional online poker sites through university computers because of the downloading of software. I understand some of the sites have no download versions, but they tend to be fairly resource intensive.

Also, I assume some instututions may ban certain keywords from allowable URLs. One time, when I was on the road, I couldn't access any web site from the hotel's computer which had "poker" in the URL.
