custom chips

Has any one painted strips on thier poker chips? My chips are clay composite and solid colors. I would like to put some kind of stripe on the but I am unsure what kind of paint to use. A friend suggested fingernail polish.

Any ideas?

Yes, I've seen it done several times. fingernail polish would certainly be long lasting. Are these the faux clays or super diamonds?
