Would anyone use an App to run their home games?

What would you think of going to a home game and the entire game takes place on your phone?

Would you want to bring a 2nd device to use? Use your actual phone? Or not play?

It seems like a great idea because you could play more hands. No worrying about dealer errors or counting chips. But some people are technophobes. I am just trying to get some feedback.
