Your at the WSOP and......

You're holding the chips lead at the start of the final table. Who do you not want to see sitting at the final table with you?

Lederer

While Hanson and Negraneu would scare me (because of their ability to play any hand), Lederer is probably the best tactical player today. You HAVE to beat the odds to oust him.

I would say people like Hanson, Ivey, Men the Master or Scotty Nguyen or any real aggressive player for that matter. I would definitely tighten my game up. That strategy may not win, but it would get me further into the money.

I'd have to say phil ivey. If he's on the final table then he must be having a good tournament and phil ivey on a streak is lethal.

Either way, whoever is on the table i'd be dumbstruck simply being there, let alone in the company of names such as ivey, negreanu, scotty nguyen and the like...

If I made to that point I could care less who I was heads up against...especially having the chip lead...I would not make the mistake of thinking they are poker gods that cannot be beat...I would play them like anyone else...but probably have more fun doing so...I would acually love playing one of the big named poker stars heads up...If you won you would be the next big thing...And also be able to say you beat so and so heads up for a major tourny win

Hellmuth - 9 time winner, plays head games, and can even get under lederer's skin - that is unheard of.

Did you see Annie Duke totally play Phil Hellmuth? It was fantastic! She destroyed him!

I wouldn't want to see any of these guys:

Ivey
Hansen
Ferguson
Hellmuth

Most of these guys play super loose and are unpredictable, and Ferguson is quite lucky sometimes and they have near perfect reads. How could I beat a player that consistently makes the correct decision on every play by play (correct decision on pre-flop, correct read on me, correct decision on flop, on turn, on river, so on..).

I also wouldn't want to see Negreanu. An example, at 2006 wsop tournament of champions, 4 players left, negreanu playing against sexton:

Negreanu has Q-2

Sexton has K-K

Table 5-7-6-2-5

Negreanu checks on the river, Sexton bets $50,000, Negreanu comments "might have like kings.., hmm 2 kings? ......". Then he pays the 50k and says "I just wanna see him". That's just insane. How could you play against a player like that, or other people like Ivey, Hellmuth or Lederer who just *know* what you have. LOL

I played in the International Poker Federation tournament in St. Maarten at the Casino Royale. I was at the same table as him for about an hour. He's kinda of a ass when there are no camera's around. He didn't say much and just looked grumpy. I was across the table from him.
