to datajett...you are obviously a fan, as I am. I would like updates, if that is possible to his current tournaments, but more importantly, just the basic info. there is next to nothing about him perosnally, like what did he do before poker, from what i understand the man did not play in tournaments before the turn of the century. what did he do for a living, shit like that? i don't know if there is more out there than i know or what? In america he shows so often on espn, and to me he is just such a funny and cool cat...being in the public eye you are going to get notice positive or negative so either shouldn't matter, but you are going to get fans. I would like a focal point of ineterest a la a fan site...

Marcel Luske is my favorite. He is real fun to watch..and a treat too as we dont get to see him on TV very much. I still like to see Shana on TV more...but hey..you know the rest of the story..

I've been playing limit/no-limit games since I was 10. Luske: your style of domination/psychology makes me rejuvinate my confidence in gambling. Aces to you always; godbless.

Anyone who claims he is too loose and doesn't know what he is about needs to look no further than the fact that he made 14th in 2003 against over 800 people, and 10th in 2004 against over 2500.In order to get past to even top 200 requires you to be an excellent player.

wow marcel is awesome. sucked that he got knocked out in tenth at the series. My best to Marcel, he is an incredibly skilled player and also GREAT entertainment wise @ the table. Showing in his own right that you dont have to be tight lipped and meely mouthed to be an excellent player

Marcel is too loose, but loose can be good if you know what you're doing, but we all know that tighter play is best, Harrington has made 4 final tables, one win, and 2 final tables when the field was 800+ and 2500+. TIght players rule, look no further than Hellmuth.

We DO NOT all know that tight players are the best! I have lots of respect for Dan Harrington great great poker player. I only saw Marcel at the World Series but he knew how to play loose and did well at it..OBVIOUSLY! He got 10th or something close like that of almost 2600 people. He is also entertaining. Also Hellmuth does not rule. Hullmuth has a terrible steam factor that you can not deny absolutly effects his play!

if mm hadnt got lucky and made his straight to knock out my man dutch, than dutch would have probably gone on to win the wsop, barring some really bad luck. Look for dutch to make the final table at this years main event

This guy is the 800 pound gorilla of the poker world. A total package player, interesting to see if he can put it together this year and show up at some final tables. His style is unmatched, gentleman and his game is complete. Very entertaining to watch, can learn a lot from him.

Not even did Marcel win a lot of money himself, he and Noah Boeken(allso from the Netherlands) made a deal with david williams so that 2nd place got them all money. Dutch players rule, Noah won the Scandinavian open(EPT), heads up against Ram Vaswani in a super game and MArcel is winning this year

The guy is pure entertainment..I love when he playes. Top 20 in terms of entertainment...Top 50 easy maby top 30 in terms of talent...Playes a little fast and loose at times. I am sure he can win tons in a cash game but opens himself up to tough beats in a large tournament setting. Man is he fun to watch though....So close to the final table, would have rather seen him then that cocky jerk Josh Auriea (not sure of spelling but that kid sucks attitude wise
