Starting hands?
Hi guys,
Which starting hands table (i.e. preflop action matrix) would you recommend for fixed Limit Hold'em (Small/Medium stakes)?? I intend to play short-handed (6 max) online. I know that Sklansky published a couple but they are probably somewhat outdated? Thanks! Cheers, |

For small stakes Sklansky is way too tight. Use Lee Jones's chart for small stakes. Sklansky is probably OK for medium stakes though.

Dude id be all like looking down at the ole k 7 suited and get a stiffy its time to freakin play raise! I announce proudly. This random duoche calls with with a j flop come a q 7 one club im all like im all in! He calls it comes bump bump running clubs and im all like yay man ship it. Also i like hands like j x suited or better like q5 suited any hand that connects in any way like 9 5 off is the nuts. Another really good hand is like 10 5 cuz you can make all the straights in the game its the only hand where you can make all straights. So that hand is definately a four bet hand or even call all in with. Ok so heres a story we playin 1 2 no limit this guy got aces he makes it 10 next guy got qq he makes it 35 ive got 200 behind me i shove allin 10 5 clubs both players call flop is 234 two clubs! Turn is q hearts brick! River is ace of diamonds i made the small straight cuz i had 10 5 and my opponents sets were no match for the might 10 5 cuz it makes all the straights.
