World Series of Poker Champion Phil Hellmuth to Return as
Host of Second Annual Tony and Eva Parker Celebrity Casino Night

JULY 8, 2009, SAN ANTONIO—Eva’s Heroes announced today that Phil Hellmuth, celebrity poker player and 11-time World Series of Poker champion, will return to the Alamo City to host the Second Annual Tony and Eva Parker Celebrity Casino Night. The Casino Night will be held at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch in San Antonio on Saturday, September 12, 2009.

“Phil’s dynamic personality scored big during last year’s event, and we are thrilled he has agreed to return,” said Eva’s Heroes Executive Director Christiane Perkins-Garcia, “Having the biggest name in poker hosting our event adds a special touch to the poker tournament that will make for a very memorable night.”

Hellmuth is a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, with years of experience on the World Poker Tour. Hellmuth also serves as a commentator on Bravo’s Celebrity Poker Showdown and is a poker coach on Fox Sports Network’s Best Damn Poker Show. His published work includes Phil Hellmuth's Texas Hold'em and Phil Hellmuth’s Million Dollar Poker Secrets.

The Second Annual Tony and Eva Parker Celebrity Casino Night will feature dinner, drinks, and traditional casino games, such as blackjack and roulette. There will also be a silent and live auction and the opportunity to participate in a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. The grand prize winner of the poker tournament will receive a seat to the 2010 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, a $10,000 value.
