Has anybody seen or played on this table?
It looks like an ok table and for about half the price of others... Free shipping too. I am not sure it is availible anywhere yet, because most sights say that it will ships in 3 to 4 weeks.

Never played on it, but I think I saw it at a Sam's Club somewhere. Doesn't look very sturdy or durable, but it might work for a temporary fix. If you've got the tools (and it doesn't require many), I suggest you build your own. Plans for a magnificent Holdem table are available at http://www.buypokerchips.com.

Junk
All professional poker tables that are of good quality have a 1/4 inch closed cell foam underneath a quality fabric playing surface made of either faux suede, velveteen, or moleskin (the best!). This table doesn't have any foam under the surface and the surface is made of flannel which will pill over time.
Bottom Line - Junk. If your interested in making your own I recently documented the entire process of building a poker table with detailed descriptions and photos. Feel free to browse... I would have to agree that you build your own. My Friend and I have a table we have been using, It was decent for what we needed. Square base round top. Found it on the side of the road. Put on a new purple velvet like top works great.
Now we are going to customize it for are own use. Full bottom to hold chips. A shelf to hold drinks with a balcony like gaurd. also padding to to gaurd the against sharp edges. I will post images at somepoint Later Sean |
