Ted, IMHO, is the second-greatest cash-game player in the world behind the legendary Chip Reese. He is also probably the greatest Razz player of all time, and certainly the best right now, although he rarely gets to show off his amazing skill in this game since the only time one ever sees Razz on TV is during one episode per year of ESPN's World Series coverage. Which I suppose is fair, since the game is rarely spread anywhere - although they play it for high-stakes sometimes at the Bellagio and a couple of the larger California poker rooms like Commerce. Although he is primarily a cash-game player, anyone who wins 3 WSOP bracelets in the same year obviously possesses some tournament skills as well, to say the least. Just an overall great poker player.

To Ted: Your knowledge of the game, accompanied w/ your absolute brilliance towards 1) probability and 2) reads towards--prospective, although they're "deemed" amateur--players of the game have made me raise my "hat" to you. Mr. Forrest: I bow to you. Respect.

You're juiced 10K. Enter a 7-card round w/ Ted Forrest. Best of luck; it's comparable to tossing your 'roll' in the garbage.

Why does a great poker player like Ted blow a million shooting craps? I think he may have more in common with Stu Ungar than just great play.
