Benny Binion, Dallas Gambler and Mob Boss is one of the best books I have ever read. It was written by Jim Gatewood Dallas Historian. The book tells how Benny drove the Chicago Mob out of Dallas and built an underground empire of Dallas Casinos. He started out bootlegging alchohol during prohibition as a young man and met the right people along the way. He went on to doing more legitimate work and starting Binion's Horseshoe Casino. His sense of adventure and creativity made the poker world what it is today. He should be lauded for goodness, no matter how many lowlifes, or cops, he expidited. Praise be to allah & Benny Binion.

This was the best and most honest man I ever met. Knew him in Las Vegas for years but never gambled there. With Respect the MtnMan near Preston, Nv.
