A real-time Mafia/Werewolf clone that happened to be at the right place at the right time. After a bad first impression with the game thanks to severe connectivity issues and occasional freezes, I finally had a chance to experience the game and it's fun. I still find Town of Salem to be a more cerebral experience compared to Among Us although one can't deny the continued popularity of Among Us and it still continues to receive updates despite us being halfway through 2022. now is free!HAHA! Fall Guys' marketing was fantastic, but even with an indie game, that sort of capitalist promotion the overall ambition of it was for us to engage with a product they were selling can only last for so long. Among Us still promotes itself and having a cheesy advent calendar full of schlocky plastic toys is most definitely capitalist but all the stories have come from players. All the art and narrative from Among Us is fan driven. We get to create the stories and we get to build on them. As Among Us clones become more and more popular in coming years, they will try to make themselves stand out by providing us with a cast of wacky characters, but the truth is Among Us works precisely because it doesn't have one.
