Greestein overplayed AK?

Anyone else think Greenstein overplayed AK? Once going all in against car wash when car wash had QQ - the third best hand in poker. He looked smart cuz he hit his Ace both times but if he missed I think people would have a different opinion of him.

I feel that he obviously thought he had the best of it.Utg it is much more difficult to call
all in than it is to put someone all in with that hand.Ie... raising in the small blind with only
one or two callers after you to act?thoughts?

How could he think he had the best hand with that action? At best he is a coin flip, at worst he is a dog. He got real lucky and he knows it.

Greenstein committed his winnings to charity prior to the tournament. In a cash game (his money) under the same situation I think he would have folded.

If you go all in preflop with the AK you are usually at least 40% to win unless you are against AA or AK. So, you can't really overplay AK.

I thought that was a good play by Barry. James Tippin just called a smaller all-in, and he had shown a propensity to second guess his hands and make bigger laydowns (hell...how long did he really need to think with Q-Q). I think Barry knew from the earlier hand where Tippin help J-J and a lone king came on the board by his tortured fold that he held a stronger medium pocket pair like 10-10 or J-J, so he might of believed that he could get him out of the pot here as well and get some dead money in the pot. Barry probably had an idea that Chip was just making his last stand with a smaller pair or a weak ace as well, so he thought if he did get Tippin out he'd have Chip dominated. Finally, should Tippin call he has the fourth best hand in hold'em, and should he not run into A-A or K-K and win the hand he would be in a dominating position to win the whole tournament. I think you need to make well timed gambles to win tournaments and that was the safest (likely 40%+ chance of winning) and most lucrative (knock two players out - one being unbelievably dangerous - and have a 2-1 chip lead against impulsive wreck Randy Jensen for the championship).
