Tight Table

At my home game, there are typically 6 players at the table and each player is tight as hell....Eventually, after hours of playing the blinds are so high that players are forced out. How can I break this tight play to get larger pots when having solid pre-flop hands? And even marginal hands? These guys fart and fold at the same damm time and it is all night long.

tight play

bet every hand.....If they are that tight play loose...you will steal alot of blinds but then you can tighten up yourself quick they wont know that. Even if you lose one night use it for play to get the rep you are on tilt alot. Otherwise find another game.

I agree...

But try not to make it too obvious that you are bluffing. Only steal about 1 of every 4 or 5 hands. You can make a lot of steals with only 6 players.

Talking Agreed

I always start every tournament by playing alot of hands out of the first 10 or so. When the blinds are cheap. Then I will tighten up in a second. People dont know that. I will also show if I bet big and have the nuts....I have a rep. at my local game that I bet big when I have the nuts. I can bluff extra pots because of that.
