Team Bodog is a combination of Pros, featured players and all qualifiers for live events like the World Series. Many of them are made up of players who simply qualified for large tournaments like the WSOP and have agreed to promote the site.
Bodog Pros are the more famous players who are paid by Bodog to represent the site and play in the biggest poker events around the world. As of 2011, Team Bodog only has two members - Evelyn Ng and the newest member of Team Bodog, Amanda Musumeci.
After his 2004 second place finish at the WSOP Main Event, David Williams signed a sponsorship deal with Bodog and represented the site for almost 7 years. However in 2010 his deal with Bodog expired and he decided to join the team PokerStars in June 2010. Williams was being represented by poker talent agency, Poker Royalty. There was speculation that Williams was getting too successful and Bodog could not afford to eep him on since he had just previously won a World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship at the Bellagio.Former “Survivor: China” contestant and poker player Jean-Robert Bellande is another former Bodog Pro. He joined Bodog in March 2008. His agreement expired at the end of October 2009 and was not renewed.
Justin “ZeeJustin” Bonomo, a top online poker player who has also had some brick-and-mortar success, is another former Bodog Pro. He became a Bodog sponsored pro in 2007. In January 2010, Bodog issued a press release which stated that Bonomo was no longer a member of Team Bodog.
